The 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4XE Unlimited features a turbocharged 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder engine, which runs on standard gasoline. However, it also offers two electric motors, which
are powered by a lithium-ion battery located under the rear seats.

One of these motors is integrated into the transmission, while the other motor serves as a belt-driven starter/generator. The entire system offers 470 lb-ft of torque at 3,000 RPM and 375 horsepower at 5,250 RPM. This vehicle boasts a standard 4-wheel drive system and an 8-speed automatic transmission.

This vehicle has been estimated to be capable of achieving 49 MPGe in combined (city and highway) driving. It returns 20 mpg when it’s functioning as a standard hybrid. The 2022 Wrangler 4XE can cover 370 miles, provided it has a full gas tank and a full battery.
