Ram 1500 Classic
Ram decided to do something unique when it updated its 1500 pickup truck. Instead of discarding the previous design, Ram kept it on as a new model offering—the 1500 Classic. The name says it all—the Classic is the older version of the Ram 1500, and “older” only refers to the styling because the capability of the Classic is still on par with, or better than, many of the full-size pickup trucks available today.

The Ram Classic 1500 pickup truck is available in five model versions across Canada. Starting at just over $28,000, the Classic comes in the Tradesman, Express, SLT, Night Edition, and Warlock models. Each comes standard with a 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 engine. Paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, this combo delivers 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque to the Ram 1500 Classic, which allows for max hauling of 4,813kg and a max payload of 875kg. The base Tradesman model is a great choice for drivers who simply want a truck that can handle work duties without too many bells and whistles. For just $1,000 more, the Express model is the best value for drivers, adding remote keyless entry, SiriusXM satellite radio, body-colour exterior parts, and more. The SLT model moves drivers into a more modern design with chrome bumpers and upgraded interior. The Night Edition offers a darker and more mysterious look, and the top-level Warlock trim offers another unique design with a sport hood and unique bumpers and grille.
